Series

A Series is an automatic video channel on one niche. It isn’t a single video: once you create it, it keeps producing new short vertical videos every month until you archive it.

What goes into every video

Every video in a Series is brand new. For each one, BigMotion:

  1. writes a fresh script on your niche,
  2. narrates it in the language and voice you chose,
  3. creates the pictures in your visual style,
  4. adds your background music and captions,
  5. animates scenes, if the Series uses animation,
  6. and, if you turned it on, adds a short call to action at the end.

The look, voice, music and caption style stay the same across the whole Series, so your channel feels like one channel.

How many videos a Series makes

You don’t pick the number of videos. Each Series comes with a fixed number of videos per month from your plan. Your plan’s Videos per Month is that number times the number of Series you have.

The Your Series page shows how many Series you’re using, for example “1/2 Series Active”. Active and On hold Series count; archived ones don’t. When every Series is in use, you can:

  • archive a Series you no longer need,
  • buy an extra Series,
  • or move to a bigger plan.

When videos appear

  • Right after you create it, the first video starts generating, so you see a result in a few minutes.
  • The rest of the month, the remaining videos are spread evenly until the end of the calendar month, at 12:00, 15:00, 18:00 or 21:00 UTC. The Series Calendar tab shows the upcoming times in your local time.
  • Your first month: a Series started mid-month gets only its share for the days left. From the 1st of the next month it makes its full monthly number.
  • Each video starts generating about a day before its planned time and is then posted to the accounts you turned on. YouTube and TikTok may publish it as soon as it’s ready, so it can appear there up to a day before the time shown. See Auto-posting.

If you didn’t turn on any social account, videos are still made. They wait in the app, where you can watch and download them.

Statuses

  • Active: running normally.
  • On hold: your plan isn’t active, so no new videos are made. This happens automatically; there’s no pause button. When your plan is active again, the Series comes back on its own the same day.
  • Archived: you stopped the Series. No new videos are made, but every video already made stays available to watch and download. An archived Series can’t be restarted.

Animation

A Series can animate the opening scene of each video, every scene, or nothing. Animation is paid with Sparks, for each video as it’s made. If your Sparks run out, the Series keeps going and the next videos come out without animation. See Animation.
